From the Galway debuts of Propeller and the Michael Clark Company to the re-opening of the beautifully refurbished Druid Theatre with The Gigli Concert; the performances of Kronos Quartet, Bon Iver and a visual arts programme that included  David Hockney and the ABSOLUT Art Collection, Galway celebrated a feast of culture from around the world during Galway Arts Festival 2009.
