Welcome

We look forward to welcoming you all to Galway from 12-25 July for Galway Arts Festival 2010. The Festival programme will be available in late May.

THANK YOU

Galway Arts Festival would like to thank all of our artists, staff, sponsors and friends and you, our audiences, for being part of a fantastic and very memorable Festival 2009.

From the Galway debuts of Propeller, the Michael Clark Company and the Royal Exchange Theatre to Circa’s return with the European premiere of Furioso to the re-opening of the beautifully refurbished Druid Theatre with The Gigli Concert; the performances of Kronos Quartet, Bon Iver, Spiritualized and Primal Scream to those of New York Dolls, Candi Staton, David Gray and Julie Feeney; to the street spectacle of Macnas; the comedy of Mark Thomas and Tommy Tiernan; the talks and discussions with Ben Anderson and Colm O’Gorman and a visual arts programme that included  David Hockney and the ABSOLUT Art Collection, Galway celebrated a feast of culture from around the world during Galway Arts Festival 2009.

Check out our new online TV station, GAF TV to relive some of the magic by clicking the GAFTV icon on our homepage or following this link. www.galwayartsfestival.com/gaftv
